Mehron Barrier SprayOriginally developed as an underbase for 3-D gelatin appliances to increase durability. This "wonder spray" also works to insulate sensitive skin from harsh adhesives; may be misted on top of finished powder makeup to set and preserve. Barrier SprayTM can be used under makeup to stop sweat or over makeup to set it after applying ColorSet Powder.

Barrier Spray can also be used as an adhesive (glitter glue) by mixing some Barrier Spray and glitter in a small cup. Then after mixing the Barrier Spray and glitter together you apply it as you would any other "wet" make-up.

Barrier Spray is a clear alcohol-based, cosmetic grade filmthat is designed to create a barrier between the sking and the makeup. When applied to clean, dry skin, it reduces sweating from behind the makeup, latex and adhesives like spirit gum. It allows the makeup to be applied evenly and rtards staining from pigments. Best of all, after the makeup application it can be used as the final seal for the finished makeup too.

Cheerleaders are applying Barrier Spray on the face to proctect from staining and over the design to proctect it from rubbing off.

Cheerleaders are also using Barrier Spray under their makeup to prevent makeup from soaking in the sking, therefore allowing and even application. They are also using it to keep from sweating through their makeup and as a sealer so their makeup lasts longer on the stage. It can be used over water-based makeup and over cream makeup once it has been powdered.

Barrier spray is should also be used anywhere the uniform comes in contact with makeup. It can be applied on the makeup and the costume to minimize the makeup from rubbing off onto costumes. Barrier Spray also helps keep you from breaking out while sweating with makeup on or if you have allergic reactions to the makeup

How does it work?

Hold the pump bottle at least 14 inches ffrom the skin. Three sprays across the face is sufficient for adults. For children, have them hold their eyes closed with their fingers, or cover them with plastic spoons. Barrier spray can then be sprayed on over the eyelids.

You can also spray the Barrier Spray into a container and then mix your glitter in with the Barrier Spray. You can then apply the Barrie Spray / Glitter mix to the face with a make-up applicator.
